Terms

The rules for using DuskMeet, in plain language.

Who can use DuskMeet

You must be 18 or over. We check this against the date of birth you give at registration. An account found to belong to somebody under 18 is removed.

One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.

How to behave here

Be the person you say you are. Do not use somebody else's photos, do not misrepresent who you are, and do not create an account to impersonate anyone.

Harassment, hate, threats, and sexual content sent to somebody who has not asked for it are all grounds for removal. So is asking other members for money, promoting anything commercial, and any attempt to move somebody to another platform to defraud them.

Nothing involving anybody under 18 is tolerated in any form, and is reported to the relevant authorities.

Your content

What you write and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people the product is meant to show it to, and nothing beyond that. We do not sell it, license it, or use it to train anything.

When we remove an account

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules, that we have reason to believe is fraudulent, or that puts other members at risk. Where it is safe and sensible to explain why, we will.

You can appeal a decision, and a person will look at it.

What we do not promise

We do not promise you will meet anybody. DuskMeet is a way to be introduced to people, not an outcome.

We verify some accounts, but a verified badge means the photo matched a check, not that we vouch for the person. Use your own judgement, and read the safety page before meeting anybody.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you before it takes effect rather than quietly updating the page.
