Your connections, wherever you go. The same account, messages and people as the website.
Official Android app
Version 2.0.3
Download for Android54.5 MB · Android 8.0 or newer · Released 21 September 2026
What is in 2.0.3
- Sign in and sign up with Google work again in the app: it no longer closes when Google hands you back
- If something goes wrong on a screen, you see a Try again button instead of a blank page, and we are told what broke
- If your email is not confirmed yet, signing in now says so and sends you a new link, instead of saying your password is wrong
- Tapping a confirmation link twice no longer says the link is invalid
- Having DuskMeet open in two browser tabs no longer signs you out
- Updates are yours to choose: nothing downloads or restarts on its own. Open Updates in the menu when you want one
- A new message box: camera and photos fold into a plus while you type, and emoji open in the keyboard's place
- Emoji go where your cursor is, with recent picks and a delete key
- Chats rise with the keyboard, so your newest messages stay in view
- A photo or video that failed to send goes again as the photo, by itself when you are back online
- Circles: four to six people in your city, in one small group chat
- Share your live location with someone you trust while you are out
- Edit your About in place, and get verified straight from the photo step
- Community, event and project chats rise with the keyboard too
Installing it
- Open this page on your Android phone and tap Download for Android.
- Open the downloaded file. Android will ask whether your browser may install apps. This is Android’s standard protection for apps that do not come from Google Play; allow it for this install only.
- Tap Install, then open DuskMeet and sign in with the same account you use on the website.
Only download DuskMeet from this page, at duskmeet.com. We do not publish the app anywhere else yet, and we will never ask you to turn off Google Play Protect.
What the app asks for
The camera only when you choose to take a photo, your approximate location only when you choose to set your city, and notifications only once you have a connection to hear from. It never asks for your contacts, messages, call history or precise location, and it does not track you for advertising.
An early release
The app is new, and what each version includes is listed above. Communities, events and the feed are coming in updates, and everything is always on the website in the meantime. Once installed, the app updates itself.
